Dubai Maritime City, a harbour to live on.

A 249-hectare peninsula between Port Rashid and Drydocks World, where shipyards meet new towers on the water: every district, every residential project and every developer, checked and sourced.

Why Dubai Maritime City

The sea on three sides, the old city next door.

Reclaimed from 2004, stalled after 2009 and re-planned since, the peninsula is now one of Dubai’s busiest off-plan markets: 2,877 sales were registered there in the twelve months to October 2026, at an average AED 3,141 per sq ft.

  • About 15 to 20 minutes to Downtown Dubai and DXB outside peak hours (Deyaar, Property Finder)
  • A 3.5 km promenade finished on the water, Mina Rashid and the QE2 across the basin
  • Branded towers: Hilton, Chelsea FC, Franck Muller, Pininfarina design
  • Two towers lived in today, the next handovers from the end of 2026

New projects

Choose by budget.

From studios on the harbour front to penthouses on the point. Most towers are sold out at the developers and change hands as resales; each project page gives the source of its price and the handover date announced.

All projects compared

Studios and one-bedroom apartments on the harbour front, most of them resales of towers sold out at launch, a few still on developer payment plans: the entry point to living on the water.

3

Visit, then decide

Show-flat and site visits with the developer or a RERA-licensed agent, in person or by video; the agent handles the paperwork until the keys.

Questions

Dubai Maritime City, in short.

On a reclaimed peninsula between Port Rashid (Mina Rashid) and Drydocks World, linked to the city by a causeway from Al Mina Street. Wikipedia gives about 1 km to Jumeirah Beach Road, 1.5 km to Bur Dubai and 10 km to DXB; developers and portals give about 15 to 20 minutes to Downtown Dubai and the airport.

Dubai Maritime City FZE, part of DP World since DP World agreed to buy it from Dubai World in September 2017 (USD 180 million). It sells freehold plots and runs the industrial precinct; every home is built and sold by a sub-developer such as Beyond, Deyaar, DAMAC, Danube or Select.

Yes: Dubai Maritime City sells freehold plots, Gulf News describes it as one of the city’s first freehold locations, and Property Finder lists every project there as freehold, open to foreign buyers. Sales are registered with the Dubai Land Department under the area name “Madinat Dubai Almelaheyah”.

Not on the peninsula. The nearest stations are Al Ghubaiba and ADCB on the Green Line, about 10 to 20 minutes by car (Property Finder). Dubai Maritime City says RTA bus and marine stations are being developed in the commercial district.

Two: Omniyat’s Anwa (2021–22) and Vakson’s Riva Residence (September 2025, Property Finder). Mar Casa and Nautica are announced for the end of 2026, then Aria, Oceanz, The Pier and Harbour Lights in 2027.
